Luton, Bedfordshire - 16 September 2025
The Trauma Healing Collective proudly hosted its 4th Annual Evening of Elegance on Saturday, 13th September 2025, at the prestigious Crescent Hall, Luton. The sold out event brought together over 100 women, sisters, friends, and supporters, who
arrived to celebrate a night of unity, empowerment, and healing.
From the moment guests entered the beautifully decorated venue, they were
immersed in an atmosphere of warmth, sophistication, and joy. Every detail, from
the thoughtfully designed setting to the uplifting ambience, was crafted to create a
safe, welcoming space where women could feel celebrated and connected.
The evening was hosted by founder, Kamillah Lacey, who opened with an inspiring
reflection on the Collective’s achievements over the past year. Guests were then
engaged in a lively general knowledge quiz, sparking friendly competition among tables for the title of quiz champions.

The programme flowed seamlessly thanks to the dedication of the Collective’s
volunteers, whose behind-the scenes work ensured the evening’s success.
Among the highlights were moving speeches from two courageous women,
sharing their journeys of survival and strength after domestic violence. Their stories deeply resonated with the audience, reinforcing the Collective’s mission to provide a platform for healing and hope.
Sponsors also took to the stage with messages of encouragement. Manaaz Akhtar
from Luton Rising headline sponsors and Saiqa Ali from SWAN gold sponsor both
praised the Collective’s tireless commitment to supporting women and fostering
resilience within the community.
Guests enjoyed a carefully curated experience including boutique shopping stalls, adelicious three course dinner, interactive games, and opportunities to connect
with one another in an atmosphere of celebration. The evening built to an exciting
close with a charity auction, prize-giving, and awards for Best Dressed and Runner-Up.
In her closing remarks, Kamillah Lacey expressed heartfelt gratitude to all
attendees, sponsors, and volunteers who made the event possible: “Evening of
Elegance is more than just a night out, it is a sanctuary where healing, joy, and
sisterhood can thrive together. Each year we grow stronger as a community, and
we cannot wait to welcome everyone back next September for our 5th anniversary celebration.” The 5th Annual Evening of Elegance will return in September 2026,
promising to be an even greater milestone for The Trauma Healing Collective and
the women it serves.
