GIVING MUSLIM AND BLACK WOMEN A VOICE AND SAFE HEALING SPACE
ABOUT US
We are a Muslim and Black woman - led organisation set up in 2021 and are dedicated to transforming the lives of women and girls in our communities through quality trauma informed services.
The women and girls can access culturally specific safe spaces designed for them and with them in mind, by practitioners with lived experiences.
We want women and girls to feel confident in reporting their experiences, accessing holistic support services and being believed, empowered and supported on their journey to recovery, whilst following their lead in their healing journey.
"THERE IS CHAOS AROUND THE WOMEN... THE WOMEN ARE NOT CHAOTIC"

"No one will face up to the fact that the systems we have to protect black and Muslim women are not fit for purpose.”
Well, TTHC have faced up to the fact and have put together a group of dynamic Muslim and Black women to work with our communities.
Changing that chaos into calm following our bespoke holistic model of Exploration, Healing and Affirmation.

Quotes:
“Trauma is not what happens to us, but what we hold inside in the absence of an empathetic witness.”
"Trauma is perhaps the most avoided, ignored, denied, misunderstood, and untreated cause of human suffering."
